Ok., ok., so I’m really not doing very much at all. All that has happened is that hubby and I have just become daily subscribers of the Chicago Tribune. Embarrassingly enough, it was his suggestion. But I was quick to agree, I swear! I figure that any paper good enough to occasionally publish something I write is one I should patronize, yes? 

In any event, I’m feeling strangely exhilarated! I think I feel the way one does when one donates some paltry amount to a charity. You know it’s small and near meaningless, but it still makes you raise your head a bit higher with pride.

So I think we’re all clear on what this means, right? Going forward, if newspapers fold and stop being printed… don’t blame me
