There haven’t been any dust-related technological breakthroughs, so houses are probably just dirtier than they used to be. I imagine that the new American dustiness affects women’s happiness more than men’s.
I love when a funny paragraph sneaks into a somewhat serious story. Mind you, this one is from 2007, but I’m sure it’s still relevant today. And yes, I’m one of these women who spends less time (or more likely, none at all) dusting.
