Ladies and gentlemen, one of our distinguished local media figures

Amy Jacobson communing with the next generation of Young Republicans i.e. New Trier students.

UPDATE: Amy has deleted the tweet and the TwitPic. Of course the pic still appears here and luckily Scott Smith was able to find the tweet.

Delete and ignore seems to be the way the folks at AM 560 WIND like to deal with their public gaffes on Twitter.

What I really want to know is how Chicagoland conservatives/ WIND listeners feel about this kind of behavior. If that describes you, please comment below. We’ve already had a robust discussion on Twitter about this, but most of the people commenting have been of the liberal persuasion. I’d like to now hear from the conservatives.

    Wow. You stay classy, Amy!

She was complaining on air recently about being objectified as an auction item for a golf tourney. Her point was that no one discussed auctioning one of the male personalities, and she found that offensive. I guess it’s more acceptable to objectifying yourself.

Felicia, that’s very interesting. I think she must be in some kind of denial. If you look at some of her other TwitPics, you would be hard pressed not to think that she enjoys the attention and, in fact, seeks it out. To then complain about it is disingenuous to say the least.

She should be hanging out with guys her own age. Like me, for example. :-)

Oh David, David… I guess it was too much to ask to get a serious response from you :)

OK, Anna, you want a serious response? High-profile 40-year-old blondes should not be attending high school parties.

See, the snark goes over so much better. :-)
